handmade Snippet book story book "Sisters"

I have this very sweet snippet book "story book" called sisters. The book started with the two little French girls on the front and I added colours to match.

I normally make snippet rolls but decided to make a tiny snippet book, I have made the book from hand dyed calico added the vintage lace, some of which is French lace from the Paris flea markets. There are 7 of the sweet little French girls, well I think they are little French girls. This snippet book has such pretty colour to it with touches of pink and beige. I have added a few tiny doily trim along with a few pearl style pins and a couple of rusty style pins.

The only item being sold is the altered art fabric book and the contents of the sewing book, all other items are for display only.
