slow stitch kit - Rose Fabric sewing book and needle book

I have just finished working on this gorgeous fabric lace book slow stitch kit.

the base of the book is made from hand dyed calico I added some beautiful vintage French lace to the front along with the sweetest image which can be removed from the lace pocket.
when you open the book there are two pockets inside filled with everything you would need for your first or next slow stitch creation

This is one of my largest sewing books that I have created.

size of slow stitch book open 31 cm x 21 cm closed 15 cm x 21 cm

front lace pocket are two vintage French lace sample one of the samples has a photo image.

what's included
Left pocket
in the left pocket 4 different vintage French lace samples on 4 different cards

the middle of the book I have stitched a needle book which holds pins and a pocket to pop all those little extras.
attached to the pocket are 6 rose pear shaped pins
3 pearl style pins and a vintage French motive

right pocket

a small amount of floral print fabric
a snippet of vintage French linen fabric
2 x 4 metre of seams binding ribbon in two different colours
1 metre of vintage cotton lace

the middle of the sewing book is the needle book with the sweetest image on the front cover, inside the needle book is 6m of vintage cotton along with a couple of pearl style pins and some tiny safety pins.
